Vikas Bahl Dropped From Amazon’s Upcoming Series After Multiple Sexual Harassment Allegations
According to a latest report in a leading tabloid, Vikas Bahl, who’s been mired in controversy, has been dropped from Amazon Prime’s upcoming web series
Vikas Bahl is in the dock after several women have called
him out for sexual harassment. Now, as a result, the director has been ousted
from Amazon Prime’s upcoming series, a report in Mid-day states. The web
series’ plot was about couple looking to spice up their sex lives.
A source close to the show makers told the leading
tabloid, "The project is being produced by Monozygotic Solutions, which is
owned by Raghu Ram and Rajiv Lakshman of Roadies fame. The show was a reboot of
an Australian series that revolves around couples spicing up their sex lives.
It was scheduled to roll by year-end. But with the latest controversy, Amazon
wouldn't be comfortable backing it with Vikas on board. The production house
has discussed the matter with Amazon, and will soon start scouting for another
director."
Then Kangana Ranaut accused him and told India Today,
“He’d bury his face in my neck …. hold me really tight and breathe in the smell
of my hair …. it took me great amount of strength and effort to pull myself out
of his embrace, he’d say…. “I love how you smell K…” I could tell something is
wrong with him.”
